YOUTH MINISTRIES
Psalms 127:3 tells us that children are a gift. Children and youth need to know how much they are loved and valued by the church and most importantly by God. By developing relationships with each of them, we are able to impart the Word of God as directed in Deuteronomy 6:6-7.

It is our desire to see each child and youth come to know Jesus Christ as their personal saviour. It is essential to educate and equip them with God’s word so that their faith lasts (Luke 8:11-15). We want our children and youth to have a foundation on which they can stand on for the rest of their lives.

From Sunday school, Children’s church, and the nursery, we offer something for every child. We also have a youth group (ages 12 and up) that meets each Sunday evening from 6:00 to 7:30pm.

We look forward to seeing you soon!!

BUS MINISTRIES

The bible tells us in Luke 14:23 to go out into the highways and the hedges and bring all those who are seeking for answers.

God has given us a burden for the young people in our community. After much prayer, we decided to start a Bus Ministry. It was amazing to see how God opened doors through our members and their friends outside the church. Through generous donations we were able to purchase a bus. All of our drivers have Class B-Passenger Commercial Drivers Licenses.

It is a blessing pulling up to a group of kids eager to ride the bus to church! When a child gets saved, it opens the door for whole families to come to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Through this ministry, we are able to minister to those who might not otherwise have an opportunity to attend church and hear the gospel.

Your financial gifts, as well as gifts of prayer and presence, make possible a vibrant and faith filled Bus Ministry. THANK YOU for your gifts!

VISITATION & SOUL WINNING

An important part of our ministry as a church in the community is visitation and soul winning. Luke 14:23 tells us to go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that His house may be filled. This invitation to the House of God is made to the whole community.

Visitation begins with prayer for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He will lead you and open doors of opportunity for witnessing. He will give the words to speak to the lost. Our job is to be fishers of men (Matthew 4:19). It is not our job to clean up the sinner. It is our job to bring them in and it’s God’s job to clean them up! The invitation is to “come as you are”. But, its our prayer that true repentance of sins and a life change will occur, instead of, “leave as you came”.

How do we reach people? How do we get people to visit? The main way is to invite and visit them. To let them know we care about them and their physical and spiritual well-being and their eternity.

OUTREACH

God’s Care
God loves people, feels their pain and wants to minister to them. “And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people… And I am come down to deliver them.” (Exodus 3:7,8) He desires to use His church to reach out to those in need. Could it be that the world is not seeing God as they should because Christians are not attempting to impact the world for Him? Through sacrificial compassion and care the world will see God at work. We enjoy uplifting the shut-in community by sharing the gospel, praying, and singing.

Jesus’ Mission
Of Jesus, the Scriptures proclaim: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” (Luke 4:18,19) As Christ lives through the actions and words of Christians, God will reveal and glorify Himself. As we grow in sharing our faith, we will grow in our relationship with Christ. As we grow in our relationship with Christ, we will reveal the nature of God to a watching world acknowledging every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. (Philemon 6)
